Interior Paint        Wallpaper

The first wallpaper was believed to be invented and used by the Chinese in 200 C.E. and was a type of rice paper applied with glue. In 1481, King Louis the XI made wallpaper popular, as he moved from palace to palace and required portable decor. This early wallpaper was actually hand-painted by court artists. Paper hangers established a guild in 1599 and since then, we have seen it in many incarnations: flocked, block printed, engraved and even using sumptuous fabrics like silk. While we at 3LUXE have scraped off our share of ugly 70's avocado-hued motifs and admit to joining the "border craze" of the 1980's, we believe wallpaper can be a beautiful addition to your home and have found some amazing picks that will transform any living space.

Flavor Paper wallpaper review

Flavor Paper evolved out of a small screen-printing company started in the 1970's by an Oregon hippie named Ted. Not much is known about Ted, but when his business failed, real estate developer Jon Sherman, who was wowed by the designs, came to the rescue and Flavor Paper was born. Now with a clientele including Bergdorf Goodman, Micheal Jordan and Lenny Kr... FULL REVIEW

I came across another really interesting wallpaper today via Daily Candy, Jill Malek's Frequencies. With wallpaper designs named "baby elephant walk" and "stampede" you know Jill Malek has something interesting in store for your eyes, but the names don't do the wallpaper justice. As her papers reflect the lights, you get the felling that the prints are actually moving, sure to liven up any room. But don't take my word for it, check out for yourself: www.jillmalek.com
