I was so excited when I found my Ion usb turntable earlier this year. I have hundreds of albums from the 70's and 80's that are irreplaceable and will never be available on iTunes. I'm in the process of converting my favorites records to MP3 allowing me to take them in the car and to work, it's fantastic. The only downside - you have to be patient. Compared to a cd, a turntable takes a lot longer to convert music to digital, but it's totally worth it!
