Those pragmatists who say that cars only exist to get us from Point A to Point B probably never drove a world-class sports car. If so, they’d understand that driving takes on a different dimension when there’s pulse-quickening power and road-hugging handling involved. With a great sports car under your control, commutes become adventures, a crowded highway your playground. 3LUXE knows you’ve got a thrill-seeking side that’s just itching to get behind the wheel of a “Best Of” sports car, so we kicked it into gear to do some high-speed research and bring you our three top picks. Buckle up and hang on. These are not for the faint of heart.

VeyronFrontSide
Have you ever been with friends and seen a sports car so exotic that you all say, “Wow! Cool Car!” as you crane your necks for a second look? Maybe that was a Bugatti Veyron sports car, the most powerful, expensive and fastest street-legal production car in the world. The 1,001 hp, 16-cylinder engine goes 0-60 mph in under 3 seconds. Everyone who admires high-performance sports cars has fantasized about owning a Porsche, especially the legendary carmaker’s most famous product, the Porsche 911 GT3. Most sports cars go fast, and this “Best Of” is no exception, with a V-6, 415 hp engine that goes from 0-62 mph in 4.2 seconds and tops out at 193 mph. But what separates the 911 GT3 from the pack is that it’s designed to go fast and stay under complete control doing it. The six-speed manual gearbox is specifically designed fo... FULL REVIEW

If you've read the ABOUT 3LUXE section, you'll know I that I like sports cars. This is a category where I'll be adding my comments on not only the picks we have, but some other great cars out there that make narrowing it down to 3 a tough choice. A cool car that looks to be a blast to drive is the Ariel Atom, which goes 0 - 60 in 2.8 seconds! this is strictly a car for driving enthusiasts. A great place to check it out is at Jay Leno's Garage on NBC. Let me know what you think.
