The Great Divider
Open a tacklebox and the gear you find inside and the way it's organized (or not) is a glimpse into the owner and his or her fishing soul. This "Best Of" pick - "The Great Divider" from Patagonia - will say something a little extra about you. That's because the foam dividers inside can be arranged in an any configuration you'd please, allowing you to organize your gear just as you wish. (Will your lures go on the top or bottom? Your reels on the left- or right-hand side? Will you make room for a sandwich and a bottle of beer?) This soft-sided box is made of tough 840-denier nylon, which has two coats of waterproofing polyurethane. The Great Divider can even sit in standing water without a problem (that is, until the water reaches the zipper). The light exterior color reflects the sun's rays keeping the contents cool - a most important thing if you've made room for that sandwich and a beer.
