Country Ways Ojibwa Snowshoes in Snow

Country Ways Ojibwa Snowshoes
Founded in 1972 by Greg Wilcox and Dyke Williams, Country Ways first started as a mail order snowshoe kit business, designed to get people interested in building, then using their snowshoes. Since then, the business has grown to make fully-assembled, wooden snowshoes based on the historical designs used by Native Americans. If you are looking for a well-made snowshoe but want a more traditional look, you’ll love Country Ways’ Ojibwa snowshoe. Made with lightweight nylon tubular lacing (which is longer-lasting than rawhide lacing), this “Best Of” features pointed tails and toes, which are essential to snowshoeing and will help get the beginner on the trails in no time. Available with neoprene, white nitrile or flexy rubber bindings, the Ojibwa Snowshoes are preferred by outdoors guides across North America and can be ordered in large, medium, small and youth sizes. With the Ojibwa, you can enjoy a winter hike the way it’s been done for thousands of years.

From independent research, we selected the Country Ways Ojibwa Snowshoes as a 3LUXE "Best Of". To see our other Snow Shoe selections visit our Snow Shoe Overview.
