Kryptonics got its start making urethane wheels in the late 60’s as skateboarding re-emerged in popularity and they have followed the sport through its many incarnations. The Kore Series helmets are lined with high energy absorbing expanded polystyrene and the padding has a molded polyester-covered foam that helps wick away sweat while you barrel down the streets. The ABS hard plastic protective shell comes in matte black (rubberized or metal) and the Ladies’ Kore series is available in pink or powder blue and will accommodate a pony-tail. And for the helmet-resistant types who are bummed about their lack of style points, this “Best Of” includes a free skull-and-crossbones sticker kit to amp up the gnarly in your look.
