Limited Edition Vespa GT60
There's nothing that will make you stand out in a crowd faster than cruising the neighborhood in a one-of-kind scooter like the Limited Edition Vespa GT60. Less than 1,000 of these remarkable retro-designed marvels were made to celebrate Vespa's 60th anniversary. The original Vespa ("wasp" in Italian), was designed by Corradino D'Ascanio, Piaggio's ingenious aeronautical engineer who also designed, built and flew the first modern helicopter. These instant collector's items come with individual production numbers and a commemorative badge that's personalized with the owner's initials and identifies its production sequence to ensure it will be worth more tomorrow than it is today. If you're lucky enough to get your hands on this "Best Of", you'll discover that its performance matches its pizzazz. The GT60 features a 244cc, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine that will take you up to 76 mph, and double rear shock absorbers to ensure a smooth ride. Uniting past with present, the GT60 combines its modern engine with vintage Vespa details like the headlamp mounted on the mud guard, hand-stitched Italian leather seats and the original Vespa paint (gray 725).
If you're not lucky enough to get your hands on Vespa's Limited Edition GT60, be sure to check out the Vespa GTV Vintage Collection. With a 250cc engine, 12 inch wheels and classic style, it may not be a limited edition, but it will provide that same great Vespa experience.
