If you're looking for an easy way to keep track of the miles you run, the Nike+ and iPod Sport Kit was designed for you. Designed to work with the Apple Nano iPod, this "Best Of" running combination consists of Nike+ shoes (Nike Air Max 180 provides especially good cushioning support) and a motion sensor device (sold separately) that records the vital statistics of your run. You can easily monitor distance, pace, the amount of time elapsed and the amount of calories you've burned. You simply tuck the sensor into a pocket under the insole of special Nike+ footwear and attach a small receiver to the dock connector at the bottom of your Nano. The sensor and connector wirelessly talk to each other to record each step. You can still listen to your favorite running music mix while you run - or perhaps music integrated with coaching tips for a better workout. At the end of your run, simply log on to the Nike Plus website to keep track of your run progress, establish new goals, and even challenge other runners - perfect if you're looking for more running motivation.
