Litespeed Ghisallo
How did a high-end machine shop specializing in exotic metals wind up making some of the best road bikes on the planet? It started when one of the shop owner's sons suffered a running injury and was told he'd have to start biking for exercise. Unimpressed with the selection in bike stores, he decided he could build a better frame. And the rest, as they say, is history. Today the Litespeed Ghiasallo is the world's lightest production road bike. In medium size its titanium frame weighs in at just 1.7 pounds. It's designed from the ground up for great performance. Asymmetrical chainstays provide strength for extremely efficient power transfer during acceleration. And the diamond oval top tube has ridge stiffeners that control side-to-side flex and help make the Ghiasallo a phenomenal climber. Meanwhile the bi-axially shaped down tube provides an immensely strong backbone. Add in the Shimano Dura-Ace components and Mavic Ksyrium wheels (among other high-end elements) and you'll definitely understand why the Ghiasallo is a 3LUXE "Best of."
