If you need more freezer space in this “Best Of,” simply convert the Fresh Select Zone to the Soft Freeze Mode. Likewise, you can set the Arctic Select Zone to Cool mode for more fridge space. - The RM257ABRS features both the Arctic and Fresh Select Zones, in which each drawer compartment offers four temperature functions. With convertibility offered by the Select Zones, you can change the both Arctic Select Zone and the Fresh Select Zone into freezer space or change both to fridge space at the touch of a button.
- Samsung's innovative QuatroCooling convertible refrigerator, not only has 4 separate compartments, but each compartment is controlled and cooled separately with its own evaporator and fan. This innovative QuatroCooling system also keeps food in optimal humidity and temperature conditions while making the refrigerator more versatile.
- No mixing of odors since no air is being transferred between compartments.
- If you need more freezer space, you can convert the Fresh Select Zone to the Soft Freeze mode in which its temperature is set at constant 23ºF. This way, you can store all your weekend bulk shopping in 7.0 cu. ft. of freezer capacity in total. Likewise, you can also set the Arctic Select zone at Cool mode for more fridge space. You can get as much as 11.8 cu. ft. of fridge space.
- High humidity level is critical for keeping vegetables and fruits at their freshest. While conventional refrigerators maintain humidity level of only 17%, often drying out food quickly, the QuatroCooling system can maintain up to 72% humidity, four times more than ordinary refrigerators. With the QuatroCooling system, food retains its moisture for much longer.

would not touch a Samsung refer with a ten ft pole. Make sure you get the ext warrenty from the store you buy from, don't depend on factory warrenty. you'll need it
