Bosendorfer Model 290 Imperial

Bosendorfer Model 290 Imperial Review

Model 290 Imperial
In 1828, Ignaz Bosendorfer, was given license to start manufacturing pianos- pianos that would be linked to Vienna's musical development throughout the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. Bosendorfer continues to hone their craft and introduce new developments even today. These "Best Of" pianos are known for their exceptional craftsmanship, with each piano taking more than a year to complete. Their twelve year apprentice program attests to the skill involved in creating these magnificent pianos. The languorous resonance and exquisite tone is truly wonderful, and allows a soft, mellow tone not always found in other pianos. The Model 290 Imperial is the only concert grand in the world to have 97 keys, with nine sub-bass notes that give this piano a full 8 octaves. For those who are looking for a bit smaller piano, the new model 185 has applications for both home and institutional use, with no compromise in quality. Not that it will be needed, but just in case, each piano also comes with a ten year, transferable warranty.
