Bluthner Piano Company
After being founded in 1853 by Julius Bluthner in Leipzig, Germany, Bluthner Piano Company went on to be appointed official supplier to the royal courts of many European countries, including the courts of Queen Victoria, the German Kaiser, Russian Tsar, and the King of Saxony. More recently, the Beatles used a Bluthner piano to produce many of their songs. Known for its German Engineering (not for cars only) the craftsmanship of a Bluthner piano not only lends to this "Best Of's" beauty, but its pristine sound as well. The tonal quality, from full and warm to clear and singing benefits musicians no matter what their repertoire. Its definition and silken touch is also clearly appreciated by those that are fortunate enough to be able to play a Bluthner. These Bluthner Grand Pianos come in six sizes from the Concert Grand to the Model 11, a 5'1" Grand piano. You can also pick from stunning finishes including cherry and yew wood. Bluthner has also produced the world's first left handed piano, with its treble keys, hammers, and strings on the left and the bass on the right!
