Terrablades
If options and speed are what you crave, Terrablades deliver. Truly an off road skate, Terrablades can be used on grass, mountain bike trails, and packed sand or gravel. If going 0-20 mph gets your adrenaline pumping, use Terrablades on the shore to kite ski, and have the experience of both sailing and skiing while on skates! You can also head out on the downhill trails because Terrablades give you the smooth turn of skis, but in an off-road environment. Terrablades and Rollercyle, Inc., have also come up with a motorized propulsion system that can speed you right past the mountain bikers on any path. To truly understand what Terrablades can do, checkout the numerous video clips on their website and watch Charles Sinek, of the 2002 Winter Olympic team, skate down a hill on Terrablades. These “Best Of” skates are best used by someone with a strong skating background and at least some skiing background, along with the proper protective gear. Terrablades are only available through custom order on their website currently, with larger scale manufacturing set for 2008.
