Joseph Gerber, founder of an Oregon ad agency in 1910, hired a knife maker to craft 25 sets of kitchen cutlery as client gifts one Christmas. They knives were so popular, Gerber ultimately left his agency and started Gerber Legendary Blades in 1939. Gerber has since built a renowned brand by producing some of the best outdoor knives and tools in the world. The Legend Multi-Plier 800 is no exception. Built to last the Legend sports the features you expect from Gerber including needlenose pliers, Fiskars scissors, knife, can-opener, file and multiple screwdrivers. In addition Gerber managed to surprise us with replaceable tungsten carbide wire cutting blades (always the first to dull on a multi-tool) and a comfortable grip, courtesy of contoured aluminum with rubber inserts. With this “Legend” Gerber created a “Best Of” multiple purpose tool that you’ll be carrying for years.
