The 17" Samsung SyncMaster 740T monitor impressed us and we're sure that it will impress you. One feature you are sure to enjoy is the astounding 1500:1 contrast ratio. On the off chance (or likely chance) that you are not a "techie", contrast ratio is simply a measure of the difference between the blackest black and whitest white. You can expect all of the photos you display on this screen will be extremely sharp and in focus. The monitor also has a feature called "MagicTune" technology. This unique feature allows you to have control (who doesn't want that?) over the brightness, contrast, and (my favorite) gamma correction - perfect when you're switching between watching a movie, playing games, or perhaps, even getting a little work done. If more than one of you is using the monitor (which is often the case in a 3LUXE household), you'll be happy to know that the Samsung SyncMaster 740T Monitor adjusts with ease. Lastly, this "Best Of" can be viewed in landscape and portrait positions - on your desk or mounted on the wall.
