Qualifying for Partial Zero Emissions status in all 50 states, the Civic Hybrid actually deactivates all of its four cylinders in certain cruises modes, leaving its 20-hp electric motor to power the car. Safety and reliability are big pluses for this “Best Of’, which has eight standard air bags and an 8-year/80,000-mile warranty.
