Naos 55 Backpack
On the trail, we all hope for fair skies and weather, but of course, there's no telling when the rain will fall. And rain combined with a leaky backpack adds up to misery fast. The Arc'Teryx Naos 55 is billed as the world's first completely waterproof backpack. That's some serious peace of mind when you're on the trail and storm clouds are billowing overhead. Its waterproof attributes and overall toughness are due in large measure to the fact that the pack is constructed from only two pieces of intricately cut fabric, thereby cutting down on seams that can rip or leak. The design helps direct the load to the hips, right where you want it. This "Best Of" pick promises to be a comfortable backpack, too. An innovative rotating plastic disk connects the Naos 55's hip belt to the frame, so it moves comfortably with you, especially on those high steps over rocks and limbs.
After thorough independent research, we selected the Naos 55 Backpack as a 3LUXE "Best Of", to see our other two Backpack selections visit our Backpack Overview.
