This new cover design replaces the conventional dimples with a unique pattern of hexagons that keep the core centered and reduce drag for greater distance and increased flight stability. These four-piece balls have a combination of cover softness, thinness and consistency achieved through a proprietary Reaction Injection Molding or RIM manufacturing process. Its large, highly resistant rubber core generates longer tee shots with the help of a firm boundary layer that reduces driver spin. You’ll want to have both models in your bag because the Tour iX is designed for longer drives while the Tour i is engineered for a slightly softer feel and higher short game spin.
