Nintendo Wii Controllers

Nintendo Wii
If you want something unique, fun and a bit off the beaten path, the Nintendo Wii might be just what you’re looking for in a gaming system. This “Best Of” console offers an innovative wireless controller, aptly referred to as the Wiimote, which has a sophisticated motion-sensing device that connects to the Wii via the Bluetooth wireless protocol. The Wii controller lets you swing a golf club, steer a truck or try your forehand in tennis, and the position in which you grip the controller depends on the game. The great thing is you can get a feel for using the controller immediately as the Wii comes with Wii Sports, a game that will let you try out your skills before moving into the big leagues. You won’t lack for games to play; as the Wii is backwards compatible so you can enjoy GameCube games and Nintendo’s Virtual Console that includes games from NES, Super NES, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis and Turbografix - 16 systems. The Wii brings us back to what started this whole craze – having fun playing games. Since it is less intimidating, everyone can get involved from the beginning and have hours of gaming fun without having to be a techno wizard to join in the fun.

From thorough independent research, we selected the Nintendo Wii as a 3LUXE "Best Of", to see our other two Gaming System selections visit our Gaming System Overview.
