Open Range Tech Vest
The old fishing vest now has a hip new look. Thanks to the Open Range Tech Vest by new kid on the gear block Fishpond, your vest can be as sleek and futuristic as your Sage and Winston rods. Upfront on this cool-looking vest, you'll find two sizeable, zip-down fly benches with replaceable ripple foam. You'll also find eight other pockets and four interior mesh pockets for enough additional gear to open up your own fly shop. A large, zippered pocket on the back is suited for maps. It's also where you could place the latest copy of Fly Fishing magazine for those times you're cooling your wading boots waiting for the next hatch. An additional mesh pocket in the back appears to be the perfect place for raingear. Extra features include: mesh backing for ventilation, a hemostat keeper and D-ring net lash. There's no guarantee that the Open Range Tech Vest will help us catch more fish, but we'll look better doing it.
From thorough independent research, we selected the Open Range Tech Vest as a 3LUXE "Best Of", to see our other two Fly Vests selections visit our Fly Vests Overview.
