He is the only rod builder who has developed a means of creating nodeless transitions between rod sections for a really crisp action. These six-sided rods have unique taper designs and hollow built blanks. They are light and very well balanced. But you should know, they're pricey, too. The SC rods retail for about $2650, as much as five times the cost of an exceptional graphite rod. Scott is making a limited number of these, so they'll be hard to get, too. But for the lucky few who do manage to get their hands on one, you'll be the envy of every angler upstream and down. For the fly fisher who has everything, this may be the only piece of gear left to land.

- Each proprietary six-sided model features unique taper designs, hollow built blanks, swells, and a host of other tricks for some of the lightest and best balanced rods around. Actions are crisp and the rods cast a very flat line. No need to justify owning a cane rod just because it's beautiful or expensive;now you can also revel in how well it performs.
- Blanks are flamed a medium cognac color and are joined with light weight Super Swiss nickel silver ferrules. Spalted maple wood inserts with engraved nickel silver cap and ring hardware are hand finished and blued. Wraps are flawless in translucent silk with burgundy silk trim. Blued Snakebrand Guides with select real agate stripping guides in nickel silver frames round out the components.
