Fisknat Fly Fishing Nets
Swedish for "fish net," Fisknat was born of frustration. Company founder Bob Nelson wasn't satisfied with any net he could buy, so he built his own using a coffee can, strips of wood and a rubber bag. It wasn't the most pretty of things, but it worked. So well, in fact, that soon family, friends and fish guides requested their own. A brand new company was hatched. Nowadays, Fisknat fly fishing nets are made with 100% silicone rubber bags, which means your fishes' odds of surviving the catch and subsequent release are quite high. The other beauty of Fisknat's rubber nets is that flies won't get stuck on them they way they sometimes will with conventional, tangle-prone mesh nets. This lack of aggravation alone is enough to warrant the Fisknat "Best Of" accolades. In addition, the rubber is UV resistant, so you need not worry about all the time you and your net will spend outside.
From thorough independent research, we selected the Fisknat Fly Fishing Nets as a 3LUXE "Best Of", to see our other two Fly Net selections visit our Fly Net Overview.
