AE Power Light Flashlight
Don't call the AE Power Light a flashlight. It prefers to be called a "personal searchlight." Seems a bit snooty to us, but then again, this is no ordinary flashlight. The AE Power Light can project a beam up to 3,000 feet. And its true white light makes objects easier to see, which has something to do with the contrast of colors being better in white light. (We apparently slept during this part of physics class, so we're taking their word on it.) These appear to be especially tough flashlights, uh, we mean personal searchlights. That's because they rely on metal halide HID (sometimes called xenon) lamps without filaments, the things you most need to worry about breaking when you drop the flashlight, which is bound to happen now and then. A protective rubber lens cover and end caps will absorb some shock too. The battery on this “Best Of” can be recharged at home or in your car over 500 times. The lithium ion batteries will hold a charge like, well, you've never seen. Same may go for the price tag: $350.
From thorough independent research, we selected the AE Power Light Flashlight as a 3LUXE "Best Of", to see our other two Flashlight selections visit our Flashlight Overview.
