Dardevle Spinner
The Dardevle Spinner may be the world's most famous lure. It's been around for 100 years and must be responsible for millions of bites. Several of us here at 3LUXE remember borrowing the lure from our grandfathers. The lure's simple design belies its effectiveness. Those neon lures that are dressed up more colorfully than the queens at a drag show are often all flash and no fish. There's something to be said for simple when simple works. And in this case, it does. It's because of that legendary Dardevle "spoon" wobble. It seems irresistible to bass, trout, pike and some saltwater species, too. Don't go fishing without this "Best Of" lure. And make sure your net and camera are nearby -you're going to need them.

This was one of the first lures I ever bought, as a kid, and I still use it 40 years later. Have caught more fish on this then anything except a small plastic grub jig.
