Fischer RCS CarbonLite Classic Ski Plus
When you’re out on the powder for a full day of cross country skiing, every little ounce adds up to a big deal. All those kicks can add up to bog down your energy and reduce your distance. That’s why the folks who design “Best Of” cross country skis like the Fischer RCS CarbonLite Classic Ski Plus obsess over offering you extremely light equipment. At less than 1,000 grams per pair, these are the lightest racing classic skis on the market. That’s made possible by the newly-developed, bi-directional AirCore Technology with multi-axial carbon fiber making up the core and Fischer’s proprietary T300k 1k carbon in the ski tip for maximum weight reduction. The result is less inertia, allowing for more speed and efficiency of movement. During production, the RCS Classics are immediately pre-waxed following the grinding process to prevent base oxidation and produce faster skis in less time. Reinforced ski chassis ensures longer service life and homogenous pressure distribution provides uniform wax wear.
After thorough independent research, we selected the Fischer RCS CarbonLite Classic Ski Plus as a 3LUXE "Best Of", to see our other two Cross Country Ski selections visit our Cross Country Ski Overview.

FEATURES
- AIR CORE CARBONLITE- Newly-developed, bi-directional AirCore Technology with multi-axial carbon fiber(Fischer Carbon Fiber) enables a weight of less than 1000g per pair.
- PREXWAXED- During production, the new RCS CarbonLite Skating and Classic skis are immediately prewaxed following the grinding process. This prevents base oxidation, reduces base prep time, and makes for faster skis in less time.
- POWER EDGE- Reinforced ski chassis ensures longer service life. Homogenous pressure distribution for uniform wax wear and maximum retention of climbing and gliding characteristics.
- BASE FINISH- The PLUS structure features grinding technology that uses natural diamonds for a deeper and more aggresive structure. This is especially suitable for older warmer snow and more humid conditions. Synthetic diamonds are used to create the COLD structure in the A5 base. Synthetic diamonds are superior for creating a uniform, fine structure. The result is a fine, shallow structure, which is ideal for new fallen snow with low humidity.
- SWINGWEIGHT CLASSIC- Speed Tip and Tail improve swingweight, delivering valuable fractions of a second during step turns, herringboning and cornering. Speed Tail also reduces swing weight during the recovery phase of the classic stride.
- CARBON TIP- Fischer uses its new proprietary T300k 1k Carbon in the ski tip for maximum swing weight reduction. The result is less inertia - allowing for more speed and efficiency of movement.
