CB Perfumes Cologne Review

CB Perfumes Cologne

CB Perfumes
Christopher Brosius, the genius perfumer behind the ground-breaking Demeter Fragrance company, continues to win awards for his innovative and unusual scent blends. In his Brooklyn workshop, Brosius hand-blends magical, at times irreverent and always amazing scents that align with sensual memories, as in the experiential scent “Burning Leaves.” “In the Library” evokes the smell of old masterworks bound in Russian and Moroccan leather, while “Memory of Kindness” conjures up the emotions of childhood with the scent of green tomato vines growing in warm earth and “At the Beach 1966” blends the punch of Coppertone sun lotion with wet sand and seashells. These “Best Of’s” are more than just colognes; Brosius, who has said often that he hates many synthetic chemicals used to make perfumes smell uniform, only uses oil and water bases instead of the usual denatured alcohol base, resulting in truly transporting scent narratives that are long-wearing and designed to complement each individual’s distinct body chemistry.

After thorough independent research, we selected the CB Perfumes as a 3LUXE "Best Of", to see our other two Cologne selections visit our Cologne Overview.
