MSR Dragonfly
You'd be hard pressed to drop in on any expedition up Mt. Everest, or anywhere for that matter, and not find a MSR stove. It's why two of our three "Best Of" selections in this category come from MSR. The MSR Dragonfly features a "CoolFuel" valve that allows you to easily adjust the flame from simmer to boil or any point in between. The fuel bottle and pump exist separate from the stove. This not only impresses us for its apparent safety benefit, but also because it allows the use of a windscreen around the stove so that its burns hotter and more efficiently. The burner cup is suspended, which helps the stove burn hotter while also reducing heat lost to the ground. Like the MSR XGK EX model, the Dragonfly features self-cleaning shaker jets. With the flick of your wrist, you can clean out the debris in the jets for optimum performance.
